Relationship between Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary Knowledge in English Authentic Text among Afghan English as Foreign Language Learners

There have been few researches in Afghanistan that looked into the relationship between reading comprehension and vocabulary knowledge among EFL learners. As a result, goal of this study is to investigate actual English texts Afghan students studying as Foreign Language (EFL). This research based on quantitative correlation design. The questionnaire text were utilized collect data study, which Laufer Sim's (1998) testing methodologies. All respondents consisted forty (n=40) from Kunduz University, ten females thirty males. analyzed using descriptive analysis inferential tests Statistical Software Package (SPSS) Version 24. (Pearson correlation). It hoped would raise awareness instructors about need revise their syllabus, particularly regards courses, order deliver effective teaching students. More university school can be performed gain more reliable in-depth knowledge.
